Lifetime Remodeling Systems is proud to offer a full line of interior remodeling services for our clients including kitchen, bathroom and interior remodeling. Whether you're dreaming of a new kitchen, master bath or want to add more livable space to your home by finishing a basement or adding a dormer - our full service remodeling division will help you throughout the entire process from design to completion.
What To Expect
Once you contact us to schedule a free in-home consultation one of our Project Consultants/Designers will contact you and set up an in home design consultation to go over build design ideas and start formulating a budget that works for your needs. If little design is necessary (typical bathroom remodel) we can provide a quote within a few days, if you need design help or plans are required than we will assign you to one of our designers to start the design process to create a build-able set of plans.
Design Phase
Once a quote is received and accepted we move into the design phase of the project picking out fixtures and materials allowing us to create a finalized quote with all of the approved selections. Our clients will also receive a completed design book with renderings of the project, a full color selections page as well as a detailed scope of work.
Remodel Phase
Once the Design Phase is completed we can schedule your remodel to get started! At this point the Project Consultant that you've been working with will personally manage the project start to finish with our accomplished team of in-house carpenters and sub-contractors. One of our philosophy’s is if you bid a project, you run the project. This allows our homeowners to know who they will be working with start to finish on their project. Because of this philosophy we hire people who have extensive trade experience as opposed to sales people with limited knowledge of how the construction gets done.
Award Winning Remodeler
LRS is an Angie’slist.com Super Service Award Winner (13 Straight Years), A GuildMaster Award Winner with Guild Quality, we have received the Big 50 Award from Remodeling Magazine as well as the Market Leadership Award from Professional Re-modeler Magazine. We are also a member of NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) and the NAKB (National Association of Kitchen & Bath Remodelers).
Kitchen & Bath Remodel Strategies
Footprint: Looking at your current layout and deciding whether you’d like to try and keep the footprint the same (no moving pipes, electrical, moving of structural walls…) or if you need to reconfigure your kitchen or bath layout it will have big implications for how much the remodel will cost. Moving plumbing, electrical and HVAC will be the largest cost driver of a new remodel.
Lighting: Lighting is often underestimated in kitchen & bathroom design and in reality is one of the most important aspects of a kitchen remodel.
Task Lighting: Under cabinet lighting in kitchens should be seriously considered as cabinets create dark spaces on your counter tops where you will be spending a large amount of your time. Planning for two fixtures per zone allows for the work spaces under and around your cabinets to have plenty of light and make your kitchen shine.
Ambient Lighting: Flush mounted ceiling lights, wall sconces and track lights create the overall mood in your kitchen or bathroom. Dimmer switches allow you to control the mood and should definitely be used.
Quality Conscious
Functionality and durability should be top priorities during your kitchen/bath remodel. Low quality “bargain” products cause problems down the road which is why we avoid them. Focus on products that combine low-maintenance with solid warranties. These items will cost a little more upfront but will be ultra-durable, and look great over long periods of time allowing you to enjoy your kitchen or bath for years to come or get maximum value from your remodel should you choose to sell your home in the future.
Storage
Our mantra is “add storage, not space”. Cabinets that reach the ceiling, mounted shelving units & ceiling mounted racks are just a few ways to maximize the storage space in your new kitchen or bath.
Great Design = Happy Clients
At LRS we take the design phase seriously as we understand that a great design equals a happy client. We provide all of the necessary resources to insure that you get the kitchen or bathroom design that you’ve always wanted.
